This is the second part of my piece Reflections on the World (you can find the first part here). It consists of 60 additional insights, written during this most recent spring, about life, society, the human condition, Gaza, climate change, and the world that we live in today. It is occasionally dark, but also bright at the same time. I think it can be a nice treat for the summer, with the prospect, hopefully, of a transformative winter.

Prelude

I’m sitting here… in this beautiful garden… contemplating the future that my research makes me see ahead, while enjoying the calmness and the joy of nature.

Oh! What a future! . . .

Most people have no idea of what is coming. Worse, even! Not only do they not know, but they cannot know! The way that people's minds work at the moment, prevents them from knowing. When people are told about the specifics of that future, the causes of it, the seemingly complex things behind it, they do not understand, they cannot understand.

How unfortunate… And yet, how great the future could be! How great the future can be!

The nature is still calm nonetheless. . . even if it has started screaming!

The nature is still joyful!

In this beautiful garden I am sitting, enjoying the calmness and the joy of nature.

The day is about to start.

What a beautiful, sunny day!
